Site Safety Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The incumbent assists the Site Safety Director as a core local spokesperson by helping to disseminate the details of our Hearts & Minds safety program both internally and externally on their respective project. S/he orients new employees with our safety culture, implements our safety program on all company projects and service/maintenance assignments, and interfaces with local project leadership teams to keep safety front and center in our daily operations. KEY TASKS &
Responsibilities:
Conducts worksite inspections to identify, escalate, and/or mitigate safety concerns. Assists with tracking of all jobsite safety audits, toolbox talks, huddles, and daily/monthly paperwork. Participates in the internal audit program to analyze program effectiveness and document compliance. Functions as a trusted resource in safety, and maintains all required job safety records. Builds relationships to facilitate open communication and influence the adoption of our safety program. Completes follow-up on subcontractor safety complaints and documents outcomes. Assists with equipment tracking, hazard analysis, and incident/accident/near-miss investigations. Attends and participates in all weekly safety meetings with Project Staff. Analyzes training records to determine whether training needs exist. Assists in developing, improving, and conducting safety-related training on an as-needed basis. Participates in new hire orientation (on site) and ensures new hires are provided with proper safety gear. Updates Safety Data Sheets (SDS) per OSHA and project requirements. Partners with other internal safety peers to strengthen the existing safety program and culture. CONDUCT STANDARDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates primarily in field office/job trailer environment, and routinely tilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and printers. Work duties also regularly necessitate visits to/walk throughs of respective job site, which means intermittent exposure to outside weather and conditions/hazards typically associated with a construction site. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity. S/he may occasionally be required to climb, crouch, kneel, stoop, feel, and grasp. This is considered a medium work position, which means possible exertion of up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to thirty (30) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. TRAVEL:
This position may require minimal travel to multiple (local) job sites. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Entry-level to 5 years of experience in construction-related building systems and safety. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and construction laws. Completion of 1926 OSHA 30-Hour Training. Ability to interact effectively with diverse employee and client populations. Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize,and stay flexible while meeting deadlines and goals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel in particular). PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Safety or a related field. Completion of 1926 OSHA 500. Current CPR/First Aid Certification. Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Construction & Real Estate, Environmental Health & SafetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
