Our Company has been in business for 30 years, since 1992.
We supply various types of commercial and industrial equipment to customers, mainly public agencies, located in the United States.
As a steadily growing organization, we are looking to immediately fill an opening in our company for a Projects Assistant.
This is a full-time permanent role for an individual who is looking for stability & interested in growing with the company.
Skills Required:
The individual should be reliable, have good time management skills, be well organized, and be able to effectively prioritize different tasks.
The individual must be able to communicate with customers and vendors both verbally over the phone and in writing by email.
The candidate must be proficient with the use of a computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, and other associated programs.
Candidate should be able to read and understand basic specifications of different types of commercial/industrial products and equipment.
Job
Responsibilities:
The individual will be involved with supporting the Proposal Department with proposal preparation and submission to Company clients.
The individual will also provide support to the Order Processing Department by assisting with the processing of company purchase orders.
Additionally, the individual, along with other staff members, should be able to assist with answering phone calls received by the company as well as be involved with other minor miscellaneous tasks associated with the position.
Training will be provided.
Health and dental care, fully covered by the company, is offered and provided after 60 days of employment.
Paid time off (PTO), is also provided after 30 days of employment as well.
This is an in office position.
Change from hourly pay to salary will be considered after candidate displays good work ethic and commitment to the position & organization.
