The Life Sciences & Health Care (LSHC) Industry Program Manager (IPM) is focused on driving growth across the industry by supporting the National Industry Leader (NIL), Business Industry Leaders (BILs), and the Industry Chief of Staff (COS) in maximizing the impact of their shared agenda.
In this role you will collaborate with industry leadership to:
Enhance operations management capabilities across industry programs Plan and execute industry wide shared agenda activities Build community across the industry through strategic internal communications Drive reporting bringing insights to leaders to support decision making Serve as an advisor and resource to sector and account leadership teams in support of succession, proposals, resource allocation and other efforts.
Summary
Responsibilities:
Operations Management Manage Industry program budget and relationships with CMG COO and Finance to support investments, forecasting and accruals Define and deliver reporting and analysis to support leadership decision making; this could include:
revenue plan calendarization by business, industry and sector, forecasting, periodic dashboards, and on-demand financial data Provide sales and pipeline dashboards, win/loss analysis, and identify white space opportunity Address short-term and long-term projects focused on operational analysis and improvement initiatives Facilitate collaboration across LSHC including businesses, GPS, Israel, and Global Bring best practices from other Industry Programs through management of IPM community Create and maintain industry and sector toolkits for onboarding professionals to LSHC Develop ad hoc decks, presentations and reporting which is focused on telling the story of LSHC performance.
Shared Agenda Support the growth of the LSHC industry wide cross-business cross-sector shared agenda (e.
g.
Future of Health, Health Equity) Collaborate with shared agenda leaders for project management, resource allocation and leadership transparency Support the COS in managing the monthly Industry Council agenda, facilitate Industry Council approvals and engagement Build and manage communities across the green dot Green Dot Community Builds Industry networks to increase communication and knowledge sharing between the businesses, sectors and industries to share valuable experience and insight Develop and manage internal communications strategy and execution across channels (webinar, newsletter, meetings) Promote and support NIL messaging across channels (enabling areas, client excellence, firm leadership) Onboard enabling area leadership and staff Drive in-person engagement in collaboration with sectors and learning to include:
annual LSHC Leadership meetings, bi-annual industry forums, and similar convenings Sector and Account Support Develop and maintain onboarding materials.
Support onboarding of new NSLs and own onboarding of sector specialists Support to sector specialists in delivering the integrated sector strategies Facilitate collaboration and teaming of the industry enabling teams (cross-business, marketing, PR, learning, KX, CAM, CRE) Champion inclusive behaviors and support the DEI strategy Support the leadership succession process, including maintenance of the database, launching due diligence and shaping story of leading candidates.
Maintain the LSHC proposal toolkit and field questions of account teams on overall industry strategy and firmwide data and insights.
Qualifications and Attributes:
8-12 years of professional experience Strong project management and time management skills, ability to lead all aspects of the project life cycle from concept to delivery, serve as the key point of contact, work independently under pressure, and manage multiple assignments while maintaining top quality deliverables Experience managing a team with ability to prioritize activities for self and team.
Superior oral and written communication skills and executive presence, ability to adjust communication style based on the audience, exceptional ability to prepare executive ready materials that tell-the-story succinctly and logically, ability to flex the communication and messaging to the audience and context Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders and leaders across businesses and member firms to optimize investment decisions against business requirements.
Well-developed stakeholder management and influencing skills (ideally across functions and industries) and experience in building consensus across diverse teams Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with proven use of project management tools with strong attention to detail Strong analytical skills Ability to diagnose operational and financial drivers of performance results Ability to see the 'big picture' and apply a strategic perspective Ability to structure work and analyses and develop executive-ready deliverables Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to implement change Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment Bachelor's degree required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Some travel required The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600-$181,900.
