We're seeking a future team member for the role of fund accountant to join our Alternative Investment Services team along one of our product types:
Hedge, Private Equity/Credit or Real Estate funds.
This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Leads day-to-day accounting and net asset value (NAV) production functions (including NAV construction & validation, NAV review, dissemination and reporting activities) for funds.
Reviews data and assists in resolving escalated problems that may arise during the normal daily, weekly or monthly accounting and reporting.
Collaborates with client staff to exchange information with respect to cash, accounting, and reporting of daily and monthly client activities and initiatives.
Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree (in Accounting or Finance) or the equivalent combination of education and experience 5 to 7 years total experience in Financial Services field preferred, seeking experience in Private Equity, Real Estate or Hedge Fund servicing.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Systems proficiency in Advent Geneva, FIS Investran, eFront, Yardi and/or Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
