PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
To assist the Operator and Assistant Operator in the setup & operate when necessary, any piece of equipment to run a corrugated box to meet customer specifications II.
SAFETY PROCEDURES:
Read and understand SAFETY RULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures B.
Receive instructions in the following; Lockout procedures Hearing protection Safety shoes Moving machinery All stop buttons All nip points Conveyor safety Lifting and pushing/pulling Safety guards, gates & chains III.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Perform daily clean up of area Dump trash as needed Perform extra clan up during downtime Follow cleaning schedule listed in Safety Manual Keep scrap picked up IV.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS:
Read & use Factory Order & Print Card to determine proper equipment settings Ability to know if equipment is operating properly C.
Ability to :
Set stacker Install dies, attachments & printing plates Set pull rolls, collars & straps Set scores, heads & blade combinations Set Prefeeder & Lead Edge Feeder Check stock for correct size Adjust equipment for proper pressures & register Operate glue and ink systems Set folding rails, squaring section & ejector V.

Flexo Folder Gluer equipment Computer input terminal Quality test equipment VI.
QUALITY:

Perform the following quality checks:
1st piece dimensional checks 1st piece print quality checks Random checks during run for dimensions & print Ink color & viscosity 1st piece visual check - fold box complete B.
If major problem- shut machine down & notify supervisor VII.
COMMUNICATION:
Push interrupt buttons Verbal Hand signals VIII.
EDUCATIONAL TRAINING:
