Remote Customer Service Representative - Work from Home (Applicant must reside within a 25-30 mile radius from Lake Mary, FL) The Medical Billing, or Insurance Billing Specialist, is responsible for answering customer service calls to discuss patient medical billing and sending invoices to receive payment from patients and their insurers.

Customer service calls to patients to discuss medical bill payments Entering patient data into administrative systems and discussing information about outstanding medical claims Customer service reps perform completion of medical claims information for payers Submit medical billing information to the appropriate insurance providers Process medical claims & reporting Insurance Verification Preferred skills, but not required:
One year experience in a customer service role handling customer needs over the phone Experience on the medical customer service industry Healthcare customer service or call center experience Insurance verification Medical office experience is a plus Healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions is a plus Education:
