We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in the RE investment industry.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our fast-paced, results-driven environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial statements, job cost, profit analysis, project costs, budgets, forecasts, and controls.
They will also be expected to have a strong understanding of construction accounting, real estate, and construction.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
Lead team of accounting professionals, specializing in construction accounting.
Generate and present financial statements, including job cost reports and profit analysis by project.
Monitor project costs and partner with project managers to develop budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and tax laws applicable to the construction industry.
Analyze and identify trends, opportunities, and risks, provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
An advanced degree or professional certification (e.
g.
, CPA, CMA, MBA) is preferred.

years of experience in a similar role within the Mortgage, Real Estate, or Construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job cost, profit analysis, project costs, budgets, forecasts, controls, real estate, and construction.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workloads effectively, and meet deadlines.
