Ladybird Academy
Assist Teachers in the supervision of all children in their room while ensuring activities and curriculum, are adhered to as required by the Director.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the supervision of children at all times maintaining a secure, safe environment for children to play and learn inFollow instructions issued by the classroom TeacherAdhere to proceedings and regulations with the Department of Children and Families.
(aka DCF)Assist in the completion of the daily reportsOnly give feedback to a parent if instructed by the Teacher or DirectorKeep the classroom clean and tidy as instructed by the TeacherChange diapers where necessary as instructed by the TeacherAlways comply with the presentation requirements set by the companyAttend ongoing training to keep education and regulations up to dateAny other duties required by the position.
From time to time, this position may require over-time, evening, and weekend hours.
Must be able to adapt to continuously changing, fast-paced environment, and make the children's needs the primary focus.
Must be an educator.

Must be able to fully engage in physical activity including lifting up to 50lbs.
Must be able to kneel, squat, stoop, crawl, lift, push, and pull.
Must be able to engage in activities including but not limited to jumping, dancing, and running, walking, hopping, and skipping.
QualificationsHighschool diploma or GED45 State-Mandated Training HoursFirst Aid/CPR certificationNo pending or past arrest recordReliable transportationWilling to be assigned to alternate locations, from time-to-timeMust be at least 18 years old.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
