The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for implementing the AEA curriculum and engagingin developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing classroom environment.
The teacher willinspire young minds, fostering a love for learning.
Collaborate with a supportive team to create apositive and enriching educational experience.
Conduct Assessments of children to indicategrowth and areas of improvement and formal meetings with parents.
Teacher must gain anunderstanding of Amazing Explorers Academy policies, procedures, and expectations.
Responsibilities:
o Maintain classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safetyo Complete necessary paperwork:
daily notes, accident reports, attendanceo Attend staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetingso Supervise and assist children during activitieso Provide counseling for social, academic, or adjustment issueso Plan and implement lesson plans, programs, and scheduleso Prepare instructional aids/materialso Assist with meal times and cleanupo Ensure equipment is in good condition and used properlyo Arrange the classroom for well-defined interest areaso Direct other staff in maintaining ordero Communicate with parents and maintain developmental profileso Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferenceso Manage classroom bulletin boards and family information boardo Follow medication scheduleo Perform assigned duties
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years oldCDA or higher in Early childhood education/45 hours trainingClassroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facilityPleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personalityHighly professional and dependableAbout the Company:
