We are conducting a targeted search for an Engineering Technician to work for our Energy Client inLake Mary, Florida
Related Technologies: AutoCAD/AutoCAD Overlay, Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel
Length of W-2 Contract Assignment: 5
month initial, renewable assignment
Locations: Lake Mary, Florida
Pay Rate: $19.00 perHour W-2 with all requirements met, (Straight W-2, no relocation assistance, no expense reimbursement, no benefits)
Corp-Corp Rate: No Corp-Corp, No Third Party, Client does not support H1B or EAD
Work Authorization Required: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, those Authorized to work in the US

Job Description and Skills Required:
Provide engineering design support for transmission line engineering projects, technical support to internal and external customers, and outside engineering services groups.
Develop detailed line engineering work packages for the construction of new transmission lines, rebuild projects, FDOT, and customer relocations.
Responsibilities: ? Assist engineering with work order book assemble for field construction of transmission lines. ? Creation of permitting packages for governmental & environmental agencies. ? Review and markup FDOT, City, County, or Turnpike Authority road projects as they relate to our transmission line facilities. ? Scanning and attributing of historical documentation. ? Research requests (Internal or External).
Qualification Requirements: ? Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. ? Minimum 2 years technical experience in drafting or related field. ? Proficiency with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Overlay, Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel. ? Experience with ProjectWise (Document Management Systems) a plus. ? Excellent verbal/written communication skills required. ? Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. ? Able to promptly answer technical support related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications. ? Strong organization, time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills essential.
