The Partner Integration team is responsible for exchanging data between our Payroll, HR, and Time and Labor products and the External partners that our clients use to provide other related services such as 401(k), benefits, banking and human capital management systems.
One of Paylocity's goals is to significantly increase sales through development of partner relationships. It is extremely important that once these relationships are identified, Paylocity is professional in implementing the relationship and completely successful and reliable in delivering it on an ongoing basis. Ultimately, making sure that the Partner Integration teams deliver on that expectation is the role of the PI Business Analyst.
The Partner Integration Business Analyst is the primary face of Paylocity for our partners and for complicated integrations with large customer systems. They will meet with potential and existing partners and evaluate feasibility of, define, and drive all new relationships. Also, they will evaluate the integration and define if and how our organization as a whole will support the relationship on an ongoing basis. They may also be called in to understand, define, and drive requests by large customers to integrate with their internal systemsΓΆΒ Β where the Partner Integrations will be used in development of the final solution.
Lastly, we expect this position to become the subject matter expert in Partner integrations and then help define technical requirements in WebPay and DI to support integrations as they exist and in the future.
Performance Objectives/Job Duties
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Manage all new partner integration projects:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Determine feasibility of establishing a relationship both technically and operationally
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop initial specifications for the physical transfer and data integrations
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Create documentation for the programmers to program
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Create internal documentation necessary for setup and ongoing support
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Determine if other Paylocity groups will need to change processes to support the interface
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Communicate project status and timing expectations to all parties
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Evaluate and manage approved vendor requests to modify standard file layouts based on customer situations.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Understand the differences between providers to determine across all vendors in an industry to drive standardized development
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop processes or technology solutions to streamline setups and the onboarding of new vendors.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Assist in developing specification for new system or system changes needed to better support the functions of the team.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Manage Partner escalations and change requests
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Represent Partners in developing support and development priorities around Partner issues, escalations, and changes
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Manage External Partner Relationships
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ The position may include some involvement in managing external partners such as TPAs, strategic systems alliance partners (BSwift, Taleo, Peerless), and Retirement providers.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ongoing project and relationship management
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Manage the external communication to Sales/Imp/Customer Service regarding:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Whether we will build an interface to a vendor and if so what the timing expectations should be
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ List of vendors supported and non-supported
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ All communication on processes or timing related to the list or unusual implementation processes around the list

Required Experience:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ At least two years experience in the Payroll or HR fields
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ At least two years of experience in a front line customer facing role
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of the data interface functional space.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent communication skills
Technical Skills Requirements
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience defining software requirements preferred
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Experience working with company to company file transfers preferred
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of EDI/XML file security preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
