Role Description:
Develop and execute activities related to end to end project management including project plans and estimates; scope, requirements, budget tracking; issue and risk tracking. Facilitate weekly project status calls, compile meeting minutes, report status, etc. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
4 or more years direct IT Project Management experience
PMP certification required
Healthcare experience required
AS400 and .NET experience a plus
General skills
Clearly establish scope, schedule, budget
Clear understanding of the Business Case and Business Value
Ensure Business understanding of solution
Sense of ownership - drive deliverables and commitments
Effective Communicator - to Business, IT, PMO, Management, etc.
Able to develop a comprehensive and realistic project plan
Proactive management to reduce impacts to schedule and budget
Appropriate sense of urgency and escalation with priorities, issues, risks
Maintains holistic project management - quality, resources, risks, change management
Shows commitment, competence and integrity in achieving project goals
Adoption and mastery of established ESI best practices and tools (iDeliver, CMI, etc. )
Effective Leadership
Effectively leads and motivates project teams to create, support and implement business solutions
Sets reasonable expectations and holds team accountable
Connects with Business Partners (Internal & External) driving positive reputation for IT
Works with Business Partners to prioritize project delivery options based on project schedule and resource constraints
Shows confidence and ability to take a leadership role (i.e., drive answers, make decisions)
Understands and effectively utilizes client procurement process in dealing with external entities
Sets a good example and insures team follows standard processes and procedures Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
