Position
Summary:
This position ensures all deadlines and time frames are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. It encompasses the development and implementation of operating policies & procedures which may include enrollment, billing, reconciliation, audits, special projects, and back up support of other lines of business as needed or required. The incumbent is responsible for reporting on line of business metrics such as member invoicing and collections (including monitoring production standards and making sure all deadlines are met timely and accurately). The Team Lead, Enrollment & Billing is responsible for overseeing production for a defined line of business at Healthfirst. The Team Lead, Enrollment & Billing is directly responsible for supervising non-exempt employees, monitoring attendance, approving time cards of the staff and providing production reports to management on department tasks. The role is also responsible for monitoring employee performance and implementing improvement solutions as well as hiring new staff and onboarding.

Oversee front line staff to ensure production deadlines are met, while meeting accuracy and quality standards for member enrollment and billing.
Approve timecards, overtime and staffing needs for front line staff.
Assist in developing metrics to report trending, root cause identification, and provide solutions to challenges so they are mitigated and/or eliminated.
Coach, mentor and develop staff. Take ownership of new employee onboarding. Review, approve and, (in partnership with the manager), deliver corrective action plans.
Ensure compliance with all New York State, Federal, and State Rules and Regulations.
Update Job Aides and Policies & Procedures when any changes occur and/or based on any regulatory requirements and/or new products or processes are implemented.
Conduct weekly staff meetings to encourage active communication and dissemination of information. Perform one-on-one meetings monthly.
Ensure the member experience is positive by providing appropriate and expedient resolution to escalated or any identified issues. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure staff is working to maximum capacity.
Report and review production activity. Provide status update on the daily/weekly/monthly team tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED from accredited school.
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel creating and editing data.
Experience creating and editing documents using Microsoft Word.
Experience leading project teams and independent projects within specific timelines.
Experience communicating with cross-functional employees within an organization.
Previous experience as a supervisor .
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience analyzing data.
Experience managing a team of 18 or more employees.
Industry knowledge of Government Sponsored Managed Health Care Plans and/or Enrollment Operations.
Familiar with MHS, CCMS, ePaces and potentially MP.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
